i am sailing....i am saaailing

on the reeftrip on sunday obviously everybody could see the excitement in my face , so did ann-helen and she invited me to another sailing trip on monday on their catamaran. wow, that was a big boat and it reminded me of the movie 'waterworld' all the time :) when the sails were set, i recognized how quiet and peaceful it is without the motor. on sunday we weren't able to sail because of the missing wind but with the well-chosen music from jack johnson it was pretty nice as well. it is so relaxing to sail across the blue sea- amazing!

the further we sailed the more clouds came up. initially it was quite nice to have some shade but when we began to snorkel the sun and its colour reflecting effect was missing. despite the corals were great with all the different shapes and colours. and this time there were soo many fishes around me that i felt like in an aquarium. i'm really excited concerning the corals, fish and the sea in generally and therefore i'm really loooking forward to my dive cours- probably next week- juhuu =) two of the other guys went diving and brought a big 'pineapple see cucumber' that was weird, because it really looked like a plant but not like an animal. and the skin was so slimy and a little bit disgusting but i dared to touch it *proud*

this time you felt much more lost in the ocean then the day before because unlike to sunday there were no other boats, buoys never mind the little sandisland... only you with a 360 degree ocean-view around you- scarry! and then it started to rain and you could hear thunder in the distance...ahh! but as soon as you looked under water you entered a world for itself, nobody cared about the happenings above the water but continued swimming and eating the corals or just stayed in the water and floated in its current. the lattest fact was quite impressive, because one time we decided to snorkel in front of the boot (at this time we were at the back) and so we began to swim and when we looked up we were so far away because the strong current with its waves accelerate us that much- hui! you really had to be careful not to drift away that much. you really can lose your orientation under water so fast and it's always a surprise when you look up again and have to recognize that you are at an absolut different place you expected yourself...that was an impressive new experience. for lunch we had fish and one of the dive instructors to the other "what?!? you're a dive instructor and eat fish? imagine: 'where is mummy? i miss her so much' " haha but nevertheless i could enjoy the meal =) on our way back we directly sailed into the sunset! nice one!

despite the weird weather it was a perfect day again
