that's my room in the hostel....what a mess...but i have to admit that i'm not really better, probably a little bit! that ist the characteristic condition (?) of a dorm in a hostel!

i can't get the pictures in the right order on this computer...it doesn't work...no idea why not! so it's a little chaos but nevertheless i think you will understand everything. this was a really cute wave but on the other beach there werew huge ones!

after some attempts i got up on the board- what a feeling =) great

this picture is for my brother felix...he's really keen on kite surfing...'here' in noosa is a perfect spot because everything is so shallow and on the weekend it is possible that there are more than 20 kite surfer showing their skills, nice to watch when they jump through the air...

beautiful beaches in noosa

this were my first attempts of getting on the surfboard in noosa. i hired a longboard (higher than me) because they're easier to handle as a beginner in comparison to the 'real' surfboards. fortunately triton told me the basics and tried to explain heaps of stuff about waves, what kind ofwaves, in which direction and other characteristics. at the beginning i didn't cought the waves because i started to paddle too early or too late, but i improved constantly...with the time that is really hard work both for your arms and as a beginner for your legs, because you have to walk back into the water thousands of times and the incoming waves don't make that easy...on the one beach there were so huge waves (for an european *smile*) that it was breathtaking for me but all in all is this kind of sport just really good fun and you easily get addicted to it!
