'strailian wedding :)

we were all pretty excited about the wedding that was planned for midday. not enough of pre-wedding stress, preparations and excitement...no, amy decided to join the world this day at 6:30 am..."here i am, ohh is there a party goin on today? i'm apparently just right on time- hehe" due to giving birth on that day the bride could only be present for the ceremony itself and obviously had to go back to hospital. i really have to say that caz did an amazing job, give birth in the morning and get married only 6 hours later!

the married couple and the volleyball guys

isn't that true love in her eyes *sigh*

what to say here? yeah, we celebrated the wedding on their block (big property beside a river surrounded by rainforest in the middle of nowhere, nice scenery) as you already know, australians are sometimes a bit *lol* ... uhm... different and thus why not wearing gumboots, might be muddy. no seriously, we were told to come in casual dress as it was supposed to be a 'nature-wedding' on their very own block. besides cyclone larry caused a mess and it's been raining the past month and we didn't know what to expect in their backyard. fortunately it didn't end up in a mud wrestle =)

after everybody had indulged the food, the masses of food, a bit too much, the entertaining part followed. on the picture above you can see an aboriginal performing a traditional dance. pretty impressive and sitting so close to them you could even feel the energy and vibrations of their movements, clapping and singing.

for me it was quite nice to see all the cairns guys again, as you all know, i had a pretty wicked time when i arrived down under ages ago :) ok 8 months ago.
