My holidays with Co on Mallorca

Shortly after our arrival we refreshed ourselves and i did my name as a duffer/cub (?) all credit with spilling my drink over my jeans. good positioning, huh ;)
Now, that the question about the "where" is solved, we should go to the next one: "what" We went on tour with the yacht for 5 days in the sout of the island: while that we actually did heaps of things, sunbathing on the top deck in the rear,
jumping in the water and trying to overcome the buoys, we were only able to hold on though... the water was AWESOME, you could see everything, fortunately there was nothing else then bright sand and crystal clear water. I so missed the sea and the water and the shore and the waves and just floating on the top and... a dream!
Did you notice? Now we can already backup ourselves on the very hardheaded buoys or even sit on them. Don't even try to guess how often these blue things rocketed upwards with us falling eveywhere or even being hit in the face :) i told ya, they do have their own minds...
and refreshing from the heat again....look, look, in the end we were able to sit on the little bastards without using our hands *applause* :)

driving or probably pretending to drive as the autopilote was on half of the time, looks very trustworthy though :) good work, maybe we get that boat to our right, gooo co, gooo!
after our 5- day- tour we went to the ballermann for a snack because co hasn't seen this specific germanized party place before. I wasn't too keen to go out properly, neither was co but after we got two 1-litre- sangria for the happy hour, not one for the half price as we assumed, we decided to go out just as we where, with thongs and not dressed up at all. we bought entry for 12 euros, got many souvenirs like t-shirt, keyring, boogy board... and were able to drink as much as we could in 3 different clubs. what's to say, we just did what we could and in the end we were totally smashed. i indulged the free water in the end, wisely I'd say, don't want to know what would have happenend otherwise. We went for a short walk on the beach where Co immediately lost her thongs, me in my condition couldn't help her either and just tried to sound logically "hey, when you left them here at the shore, they are gone anyway". Anyway, she couldnt remember where she left them, even it must have happened bout 2 minutes ago, but well.... barefoot and in wiggly lines we tried to catch a cab. Somehow we sat inside a closed (!!) döner restaurant and satisfied the well-known munchy. Finally we made it to the cab and could fall asleep at 6 in the morning. The next day was goone, we felt really bad, no wonder, we had everything mixed up but the trigger was the bloody sangria. Instead of going into town we spend the whole day sleeping on the boat and at the pool and winching ;) it was worth it though, we had heaps of fun the night before!!

maowkt
On that day though, we went out with Co's dad to the most popular and most expensive bar in Palma. Not that walking and getting up was really exhausting, Ulli insisted that we had a cocktail, oh my god. Somehow the picture doesn't look that bad '*lol* It was more than clear for us that the holiday we had was about 2000 times better than hotel holiday on the ballermann. one night was enough of the triviality of the people there, not that we didn't have fun, thank you alcohol ;) but it's just....ballermann, speaks for itself actually.
In addition to the relaxing part we wanted to get to know a bit of the culture and sightseeings. So we made a typical tourist tour with a double-decker with an open deck. Driving in Spain is close to suicide... rules, what for? Red lights, who cares? What sort of intersection is that supposed to be, there are no lines or anything, doesn't matter, just drive.... and Ryan was worried about the Germans,in contrast to that, driving on our roads is like being in a padded room ;)

My ability to take photos out of the bus, it's acutally a straight building... nearly forgot: That is the Cathedral of Palma de Mallorca, the proud of the city! In the nighttime it's even used as a kind of sign into the port with its big illumination.

Actually we were only the visitors and didn't stay in the big bedromm. That was our little cabin, it was absolutely comfy and it was as big as you can see. No square centimeter bigger
And I actually thought i was tanned- boohoo :( That's Ulli, Co's dad by the way, the skipper and owner of the Sun Flash
We went out to restaurants quite often. That's kind of funny, because dressed up, you have to get into the dingi, drive to the beach, get off, meaning go into the water, go out in a decent restaurant, where the boys and girls wear lacoste-polos and other brands and then get the boat into the water again and drive back. Hopefully you can remember where you anchored...And then if you don't get wet, respect :)

Thanks for everything again, Ulli, it was an awesome experience and we weren't bored at any time!!
That's it, Co and Anna back on their way to the cold and rainy Germany. You can see the happiness in our faces ;) Not too excited...Thanks Co for inviting me to this extraordinary holiday, i really enjoyed the time and had heaps of fun. Thanks for the big loads of laughing, too. It was a new experience for me to stay on a yacht, too. So *thumbs up*
